Lady Masacre is a novel by Colombian writer Mario Mendoza, first published in 2013. It is part of his series starring journalist and private detective Frank Molina, a recurring character in his work.

The story begins when Frank Molina, after losing his job as a court reporter, is forced to reinvent himself as a private detective. His first major case leads him to investigate the murder of a congressman accused of ties to paramilitary groups. During his investigation, Molina delves into the darkest corners of Bogotá, uncovering a web of corruption and violence that confronts him with his own demons. On this journey, he meets Lady Masacre, an enigmatic and powerful underground wrestling fighter, who becomes a central figure in his search for the truth.

Mario Mendoza employs a style he calls "degraded realism," exploring the darkest aspects of urban society. The novel addresses themes such as political corruption, systematic violence, and marginalization, presenting complex characters who dwell on the limits of legality and morality. The narrative is fast-paced and visceral, immersing the reader in a raw and realistic Bogotá.
